Recently tried Ashlee's for first time had oxtail & rasta pasta. Oxtail were good flavorful, but rasta pasta lacked any flavor. Tasted more like a bottle of plain alfredo sauce was used, please do better.
Food was good..love the cleanliness and rules for using the buffet..gloves and sanitizer provided as well as ample utensils (no mixing of different items)..will come again
A hidden gem! Just found this while working in Uniondale and I will be back. They have everythingggg you can ask for, the service is nice and polite and i like that they make you wear gloves when serving your own food. Soooo good i will be back
Here we go; I found this buffet by accident. There are several places I go to within the area and just so happen saw their sign and figured I would check this place out. It's in a small strip mall right across the street from a gas station. Well, I love the fact the owners and workers are very clean. They make you wash your hands and put on gloves before you fix your food. I love the wide variety of Caribbean dishes that are available. You have a great selection of meats from ox tails to chicken, fish, goat, shrimp, etc. Even beef patties of all flavors. You have multiple choices. As for prices, because it is priced by weight per pound it can be a bit pricey. Overall this is a great place to come to if you like Jamaican food.

Where do I even begin! Ashlee's Jamaican Buffet is literally my top 5 Favorite place to go to... if you are looking for authentic Jamaican food and you are located anywhere near Uniondale... This is the place to go! I really have nothing negative to say about this place. The food is ridiculously delicious. My favorite is the rice and peas, their delicious oxtails, jerk chicken wings, mac & cheese, and their barbecue chicken. Also, can't go wrong with a Jamaican soda! This is a buffet style restaurant, you come in and grab your plate and serve yourself as you'd like. Honestly, the possibilities are endless. The price of your plate depends on its weight, so keep that in mind... The heavier your plate is, the more expensive, but it's all worth it! One thing I really admire about this place, is how serious they took precautions during the height of the pandemic, and even still: When you come in, they urge you to use hand sanitizer, then you are provided with gloves, before grabbing your plate. They encourage customers to not speak over the food and they require masks. I've been to this restaurant countless amount of times during the last 5 years, and it will forever remain one of my favorite go-to's.

Clean , great customer service and good food. I have a few favorites. All the soups, akee and salt fish and the oxtail to name a few.
